You CAN

9/30/2014

Picture
You can succeed and have what you want in life.
You can achieve your goals - no matter how big or grand they may seem.

But no one really tells you that.  Instead, they'll shoot down your ideas, tell you how hard it is to succeed, how times are tough and how you really can't live the life you want.
How do they know?  They really don't know, but you listen and start believing.
You accept what they say and think "Yeah, I guess so."

And before you know it your subconscious mind picks up on those limiting beliefs and starts to create your life based on what others said.  NOW you're living your life based on their beliefs of what you can or can’t do - not the life you want.
And your subconscious mind will keep creating the same situations over and over again - as long as you believe what they say.

I know that's not what you want.

You want to enjoy your life, make more money, and be in a good relationship.
If you’re married you want to have a wonderful relationship,   a nice home and have your kids attend a good school.  You want to ensure that your family's taken care of and that you no longer have to worry - about anything.
Well, you can have that life if that is truly the life you want.

So stop believing other peoples’ perception of you and what they say.
Stop believing that you have to work hard to succeed.
Because you don't.
All you have to do is direct your subconscious and your inner powers to create the success you want.
You decide if you're going to be successful or not.
Your subconscious and inner powers are ready to bring you the success you want, all you have to do is focus on what you want, take action, be consistent, finish strong in everything you set out to do

Your subconscious is always working for you.  It's working for you right now.  You're communicating with it at this moment.  It's at work, responding to your instructions which are your focused thoughts.

Make sure you tell it exactly what you want. Give it the right instructions.
Follow the right steps. Take action, and be consistent, doing the right things at the right time.

Yes you can.
Yes you can make more money.
Yes you can be in the right relationship.
Yes you can have more time to do the things you want to do.
Yes you can live the life you want to live.
Yes you can... when you have the right mindset and with stretch yourself, I help you by walking you through all the steps you need to enjoy greater success

Remember you are a powerful person.  More powerful than you realize.  Start using and  directing that power to create the success you want today

Stretching you continued success, happiness, and abundance.

Direct Response or Bust!

9/24/2014

Direct response marketing is a marketing that demands a direct response from your potential customers. This type of marketing is used to answer questions, present your branding, products and the reason you do what you do. Customers love this, as they are offered the opportunity to response, whether that be in the way of signing up for a newsletter, posting a comment on your site or blog, or purchasing a product from you.

So, what does direct response marketing look like?
Well, it comes in many forms, including:
  • Direct mail
  • Print ads
  • Radio and TV ads
  • Coupons or other incentives
  • Telemarketing

Some of the advantages of direct marketing are:

  • A great way to use free time during lulls in business
  • Productive way to communicate and empower you to create more relationships
  • Great way to up- and cross-sell to current customers
  • Low cost way to rustle up new business
  • Used as leverage to turn small sales into large sales
  • Supplement your current marketing program
  • Cost-effective way to reach target markets
  • Offers measurable results
  • Reach outside your local area for new business
  • Increase the effectiveness of your sales force

These are all great things that can come from just taking a few simple steps to putting together a direct response marketing plan and executing it.

“I honestly don’t think you’ll ever find a safer, lower-risk, higher-profit method of increasing your business or profession than direct-response marketing.” Jay Abraham

Direct response marketing is one of the best ways to launch your business on a large scale and reach out to everyone in your target market whether they are in your local area or not.

Seven Keys To Achieving Your Goals

Once you have written down your goals and developed a clear idea of what you want, you still have to get there.

I have put together what I consider to be the seven keys to achieving your goals. They are the crucial elements from start, to implementation, and to achievement of your goals to make your goals a reality. I want to emphasize how important it is to put into action the information that I am giving you here. It is vital to your success. Please don’t take it lightly.

#1 Desire  It all starts with a dream, a passion, a desire to have or accomplish something. If you don’t want it, then why bother going after it?

#2 Belief  In order to accomplish or acquire something, you must possess the beliefs that it is achievable and worth pursuing. Reaching this goal must not conflict with your values, and no one will be harmed or adversely affected by it. You must possess the belief that you are capable of achieving it, and that you can learn whatever is necessary to accomplish it.  Place this affirmation somewhere where it is visible for you to see and see how your attitude will change when confronted with negativity that comes your way and causes you to doubt your own beliefs. “(Your Name here)’s beliefs is stronger than anyone's doubts.”

#3 Knowledge  You need to acquire the knowledge and information that you will need to accomplish or achieve whatever it is you are attempting. This means learning the “how-to” of what you want to do. You will also need to read about, listen to, and model someone who has already done what you wish to accomplish in order to learn the mental strategies that are necessary to accomplish this goal.

A mentor has those resources, network, and tools you need, but mostly they will be that success partner to help you achieve those goals.  Most people pick the wrong partner and in that moment failure is guaranteed.

A perfect analogy I gave today to one of my female students is imagine me overweight weighting 400 lbs.  If I wanted to workout and lose weight would I get my friend that is weighing about as much as I am to help me?  Of course not!  I am going to find someone who has already achieved the desired results and has the discipline and insight to help me succeed in losing weight and I am going to spend time with them.

#4 Opportunity  The opportunity must exist for you to take action and it all starts with you deciding and taking the first action step to achieve your goals. Is this something that you can do now? If not, when? Are there external (or internal) factors that are getting in the way?

#5 Vision In order to accomplish the goal, you must have a clear idea of what it is that you want, and create a compelling internal representation in your mind that you can “see” vividly. You can also use external pictures of your goal that you review daily. The better you can visualize your goal and its achievement, the better your chances of getting it. Make a vision board, and place it where it is visible.  I have my vision board with pictures of my goals  in my office on the wall, on my screen saver on my computer, and in my bedroom.

#6 Planning  Devise a concise clear plan for the achievement of your goal setting long-term, short-term, as well as daily goals. Implement the use of a day-planner system to help you plan your time and to “track” your progress towards your achievement.

#7 Commitment  Stick to it, no matter what. You must be prepared to do “whatever it takes” (without hurting anyone) to accomplish your goal. Use vision and planning to create such a great picture of your goal that you fall in love with the thought of its accomplishment. Post the following statement up on your bathroom mirror and recite it to yourself every morning:

“I will not give up, no matter how many obstacles I encounter, or how much pain I endure. Because these things are nothing compared to my desire to succeed.”

In my complimentary consultation, I take you through the most important steps in order for you to be clear as you plan your actions to achieve your goals.  Take advantage and move forward and I look forward to connecting with you.

Kick Start your Marketing

PictureKICKSTART your Marketing with a Complimentary Business Assessment!
Today I’d like to teach you about the three most important start up marketing tools you need to get and keep new customers.

  1. In person: It’s essential you meet with customers/clients in person whenever possible. This shows you respect them and take the time to work with your clients to give personal attention to each of them.
  2. Follow up letter: Always take a moment to send a follow up letter about what you talked about, new agreements or partnerships made and to thank them for taking the time to meet with you. Likewise, you should always send thank you letters or small gifts to partners you find success with.
  3. Phone call: Use a telephone call to follow up with them to talk again about the matters you talked about in your meeting and offer any assistance you can to help their business run smoothly and more successfully.

None of these will work if you don’t have a quality product/service to back you up!
Here are the key steps for putting together your start-up marketing tools:

  1. Research potential customers, buyers, competitors and their preferred methods of distribution.
  2. Talk to potential customers. Take a hard look at your product from a customer’s perspective and see what it needs to be successful.
  3. Follow up with your 3-step process from above.
  4. Develop systems for contact follow through, quality control standards and customer service.
  5. Develop post-sale follow up system to keep lines of communication open is customers and build on your current relationship which increases future purchases.

“Marketing and innovation produce results; all the rest are costs” Peter Drucker, management consultant

Here’s another one I love from an icon:

“If there is any one secret of success, it lies in the ability to get the other person’s point of view and see things from that person’s angle as well as from your own.” Henry Ford, Founder of Ford Motor Company

This lesson has offered you the tools to put together a start-up marketing plan that can be used over and over again to help your customer base and business grow in a manageable way. The tools offered in my complimentary business consultation offer these very same things

Stop Wasting Your Resources!

9/3/2014

PictureDon't waste your marketing dollars!
Today you’re going to learn how to find a target market of potential customers so you aren't wasting precious resources on blitz marketing. So, the two questions you have to ask yourself are:

  • What do people really want to buy from me?
  • What related products are they already buying?

Once you figure this out you will know who is more predisposed to purchase your products/services. Then, you find other businesses with the same customer base who you can create a strategic partnership with and customer share. Come up with an incentive and great arrangement to encourage both of your customer bases to shop at both of your stores.

The basic concept is this:
  • You want to find existing businesses who have the customer profile that you are looking for to market your products/services to.
  • Then strike up a relationship with those business owners to work out an incentive for customers to purchase from both businesses.
  • As a result, you have an audience to market to and they generate an added value from their current base.
So, how do you figure this out? There is a great formula from Jay Abraham you can follow with great success.
  1. LV = (P x F) x N – MC
Here’s what it all means:
  • LV is the life time value of a customer
  • P is the average profit margin from each sale
  • F is the number of times a customer buys each year
  • N is the number of years customers stay with you
  • MC is the marketing cost per customer (total costs/number of customers)
Once you know how much you need to spend to attract a new customer, you will know how much of an incentive you can offer to a business to help attract new customers.

So, here’s your step-by-step process:

  1. Find companies who already have the customer base you are looking for.
  2. Negotiate an incentive for them to share that customer base with you.
  3. Focus your marketing resources to this group of predisposed customers.

If you need help working through this process, ask for a FREE business assessment and consultation to help move your business in the positive direction with the most comprehensive system of marketing tools and resources.
