Negative thoughts can and will destroy your life!
A mind filled with negative thoughts will make you feel miserable, inadequate and will lead you to failure after failure no matter how hard you try to succeed.
If you have a pattern of negative thinking you'll be in debt and end up in destructive or negative relationships. If you want to succeed, enjoy happiness and live a life of abundance, and prosperity - you have to eliminate any negative thinking, and negative beliefs.
You'll also have to replace those negative thoughts with positive thoughts that allow you to succeed and enjoy life. While this may sound challenging, it's a lot easier than you think and in today's blog I'm going to outline just how you can eliminate negative thinking and begin creating the life you want in a few simple steps.
Let's face it, we all have negative thoughts. As much as you try you won't be able to eliminate all your negative thinking. But you can eliminate the negative thoughts and negative beliefs that prevent you from succeeding and achieving your goals.
Where do these thoughts come from?
They come from your friends, your family, fellow co-workers, advisers, teachers, even strangers - and they come from you - that's right!
You often create most of the negative thoughts that you have - and it's only because you haven't trained your mind to be positive and you haven't created positive beliefs that allow you focus on what matters most for you to succeed.
Everyday you're bombarded with a series of negative thoughts, negative messages and as you continue to absorb all of these negative messages you create a negative thinking pattern that leads to negative and limiting beliefs.
My friends that know me know I really LOVE gardening! It is one of my most relaxing feelings watching seeds grow with the work and energy you put into them. The one thing I don’t like to see in my gardens is weeds. They take energy from the plants and make them work hard just to grow, survive and be abundance.
Negative thoughts are like weeds - if you don't take care of them and clear them early on - they will take over your entire mind and destroy any positive thoughts and beliefs.
When you're young your mind is more optimistic. But as you get older - the weeds of negative thinking start to pop up. When you don't control them they start to wipe out all that was lush and positive in your mind and in your life.
The weeds of negative thinking not only taint your mind – they spill over into your life and start destroying all that you treasure and appreciate.
But you can turn this around and eliminate the negative thinking.
You can eliminate the weeds, plant new seeds and create a new life and a new way of thinking - one that will allow you to enjoy life a great deal.
You start by replacing the weeds of negative thinking with positive thoughts, positive feelings, and take action by being an example to spread this positive message to other people.
When you have a negative thought that says you can't do something - think of why you can do something and the end result and benefit of you doing it and take action to reinforce your thinking.
When you think of what might go wrong - change those negative thoughts and think about what can go right and the end result of it going right and be consistent in your actions to reinforce it.
When you feel that you can't accomplish something - think of why you can accomplish something, where you are now, and where you started and celebrate how much you've accomplished so far.
Recite affirmations - these are the seeds of your new positive way of thinking. And TAKE ACTION that supports your affirmations and beliefs. Like using different exercises to strengthen your muscles in the gym, work with as many techniques as you can to get rid of the weeds and plant new seeds for positive thinking and positive living.
When will you see changes?
When you accomplish your first goals using these techniques it will change your emotional state to change your thoughts that whatever you set your mind to achieve is possible, setting a new way of goal achievement.
Will negative thoughts still be there?
Whenever you try something new, negative thoughts will come up to keep you safe, in your comfort zone, what you are used to doing. You have to stretch yourself outside of your comfort zone to achieve what you may perceive is impossible and make possible in your life.
Tend to the garden of your mind.
Begin removing the weeds of negative and limiting thinking.
Replace these weeds with new seeds - of positive thinking, positive feelings and positive living.
Spread the goodwill by sharing with others - this is infectious and will only allow you to continue to expand your new, positive lifestyle.
It will also help you attract more positive situations into your life.
Continue watering your new garden in your mind by working with affirmations, taking action, and other positive techniques - this will keep the weeds of negative thinking out of your mind and help you move in a positive direction.
You can and will eliminate negative thinking. You can re-train your mind.
You can direct your subconscious mind to create the changes you want.
You can achieve all your goals.
You are a powerful human being who can and will enjoy the success and happiness you deserve - but only when you decide it's time to take charge and turn things around.
This is your life - make the most of it.
Don't let the weeds of negative thinking destroy your life.
Eliminate the weeds, plant new seeds for positive thinking and positive living- take action to reinforce your positive thinking - and you'll begin creating the life you want.
