MORE ABOUT RONRon was born in St Joseph, MO.
He attended Eutaw High School in Southern Alabama. His first job was cutting grass and turned it into a $200 a week business using his friends as employees. An Army veteran of 11 years, he joined the US Army to see the world and experience new cultures. Through out his career he has always been of service supporting many organizations in their marketing and branding endeavors. His core beliefs include: Passion - either your passionately living your life fully in the present, or your just living. As individuals and businesses we are responsible for our actions and control 98% of our destinies and outcomes. Success is the destination where the journey makes you complete. Happiness is a choice. If these two outcomes are not what you want, stretch yourself take action and make changes. Favorite non work activities: Bodybuilding, playing basketball, reading, watching great movies and playing with his two daughters, and finding ways to WOW the love of his life. A few of his heroes include: Martin Luther King; Sandra Broussard, his late Mom; Tony & Jariek Robbins, good friends and mentors; Michael Jordan, and Steve Jobs Favorite movies: Avatar, Patriot, Glory, (any military movie), Legends of the Fall, City of Angels, and ANY Marvel Comic movies (to keep the big kid in me quiet). Two scariest events: My first nearly fatal car accident stateside three years after I drove in Japan for 11 years accident free. Jumping out of a perfectly good airplane and NOT because I wanted to. Most embarrassing event: When I got stuck during Air Assault training when my rope got tangled, (due to the instructors rigging my line) which left me dangling 800 feet in the air upside down. The instructor yelled out that I possum ed out and get this dope on a rope on the ground in front of 200 trainees. Biggest biz thrills: Seeing my first client achieve success. Getting my first book deal with a publisher. Sharing my passion with people and seeing the aha moment in their eyes. What really annoys Ron: Being put on hold by someone that called you for support to talk to someone else. Eating crab legs - why work so hard for so little? Encountering extra pieces while putting together an item from IKEA. (Did I miss something?!?) People or animals that whine Screaming kids that are not related to him Stupid people |
